GTM961005P Series Desktop USB PD Power Supplies

GlobTek GTM961005P series of 100 W desktop power supplies integrate USB PD and PPS technologies to efficiently power and charge a wide range of medical and ITE devices. GTM961005P is approved to IEC62368-1, IEC60601-1, IEC61558-2, and IEC60601-1-11. USB PD supports larger power levels than traditional 5 V USB power supplies by allowing a source and a device to negotiate to a higher voltage. This provides the possibility of a universal adapter that can be used across many devices. The higher power levels make it possible to achieve faster charging times.

For devices that cannot accommodate bulky battery charging circuitry, the PPS feature allows direct control of the output voltage and current to minimize charging losses and heat generation, extending battery lifetime and reducing product size and/or cost.

GTM961005P power supplies can be configured according to various end-application needs. Multiple inlet and grounding options are available for 2-prong and 3-prong models. The output may be provided by a USB Type-C® jack (-USBCJ) or a fixed USB Type-C cable (-USBCP).
