nRF54LM20A Ultra-Low-Power Multiprotocol 2.4 GHz SoC

The nRF54LM20A is a high-end member of the Nordic Semiconductor nRF54L series, integrating a 2.4 GHz multiprotocol radio and a 128 MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor in a single system on chip (SoC). It targets designs that require significantly more memory and I/O capability than earlier Nordic wireless platforms while maintaining strict power budgets for battery powered operation.

This device includes 2 MB of non-volatile memory and 512 KB of RAM, enabling larger protocol stacks, complex application firmware, and over-the-air update strategies without external memory. A RISC-V coprocessor is available for offloading peripheral functions and timing-critical tasks, reducing CPU load and overall system power consumption.

The integrated multiprotocol radio supports Bluetooth® LE (including Bluetooth Core 6.0 features such as Channel Sounding), IEEE 802.15.4 for Thread, Matter, and Zigbee®, as well as proprietary 2.4 GHz modes up to 4 Mbps. Combined with TrustZone®-based security and a rich peripheral set—including high-speed USB—the nRF54LM20A is suited for complex, secure, and scalable connected devices.
