Typical ‎power jacks can handle 5 Amps, but these can safely handle three times the current. This series is sealed to IP68 and offer a sturdy ‎metal coupling ring, so connections are securely locked in. Although barrel connectors are more durable and intuitive to use until now, ‎they have not been an option for higher current applications. Engineers can take advantage of this form factor in more devices‎.
