Phoenix Contact SDDC PCB Connectors | DigiKey Daily

Phoenix Contact SDDC 1.5 double-row PCB connectors feature SKEDD technology that enables tool-free direct plug-in connections to the PCB, eliminating soldered-down headers. The contacts of the connectors have two flexible halves that conform to plated-through holes as the connector is pushed on to the PCB, but the contacts have enough force to form a gastight connection. Locking pins on the side of the connector can be pushed into to mechanically secure the connector. The connectors eliminate the need for a plug-and-header combination and allows for more freedom in positioning the connection on the PCB. SDDC 1.5 PCB connectors are well-suited for building automation, HVAC, and white goods.
