JN14 Series All-Plastic Low-Profile Connectors

JAE’s JN14 series all-plastic waterproof connectors have been designed to meet the needs of compact servomotors with a low-profile and lightweight structure that allows the connector to securely mount to a small metal box casing servomotor. Provided in a compact form-factor, this series offers superior connection and waterproof performance for industrial applications. Receptacle and plug mating of the JN14 series is simple yet secure, where the plug is screw mounted to the box casing over the receptacle to provide a reliably sealed connection while also being compatible with the TÜV, UL/cUL safety standards. Additionally, the JN14 series provides ease of assembly and harnessing in secure mounting conditions, as well as having a 180° reversible cable exit structure to suit the user's orientation preference.

The JN14 Series lineup includes a four-position connector for power, a two-position connector for brakes, and a nine-positon connector for encoders, all compatible with I/O connector specs for compact servomotors larger than 40 mm x 40 mm. The four-position power receptacle is equipped with a threaded hole for secure mounting where the screw also acts as a grounding contact conduit directly to the metal box casing. The two-position and nine-position receptacles snap in securely with ease by top-mounting directly over the receptacle to the metal box casing of the servomotor.
