ZWSBAF Series Power Supplies

TDK-Lambda now offers an addition to its ZWS line of compact AC-DC PCB-mountable power supplies. The new single-output ZWSBAF series are 100 W, 150 W, and 300 W supplies that accept a very wide AC input range, have a low profile of 1.3" to 1.45" and compact footprints of 2.44" x 6.1" or 3" x 6.3". This makes them an ideal choice for applications in light industrial, LED signage, test and measurement, gaming, point-of-sale, and IT equipment.

These new open-frame supplies feature a universal 85 V_AC to 264 V_AC, 47 Hz to 63 Hz input with PFC, which enables them to be used anywhere in the world. Additionally, they can operate from a 120 V_DC to 370 V_DC input. The ZWSBAF is designed to withstand 3 kV_AC, input-to-output. The series are available with an output voltage of 3.3 V_DC, 5 V_DC, 12 V_DC, 15 V_DC, 24 V_DC, or 48 V_DC, all of which have a ±10% adjustment range.

With convection cooling (no fans required) these supplies provide up to 300 W of output power. The operating temperature range is from -10°C to +70°C with derating above 50°C to 50% load. The output is floating so it can be used as either a positive or negative polarity.

Optional remote ON/OFF connections are provided to allow for remote control of the supply. The operating power-saving efficiency is up to 90%. Other standard features include overvoltage and overcurrent protections. The input and output connections mate with standard JST connectors.
