SMU Series Surface Mount Potentiometers

Ohmite's SMU series of surface mount, single-turn, sealed cermet trimmers are available in J-hook and gull-wing terminal configurations

Image of Ohmite's SMU Series TrimmersOhmite's SMU series of surface mount potentiometers offer a maximum power dissipation of 0.25 W. The SMU is designed to keep the lowest profile which is done by having the adjustment location on the top of the potentiometer. The adjustment of the full range of resistance can be accomplished with a single turn, providing the user with a quick adjustment. Ohmite also incorporates a multi-dimensional adjustment dial. The adjustment of resistance can be completed with either a flat head or Phillips screw-driver, adding another layer of ease for the user. The SMU series is offered in standard values from 50 Ω up to 2 MΩ, and the outer casing meets UL 94V-0 requirements.
