The LTC3350 integrates supercapacitor charging and backup system blocks into one monolithic device. It is a complete supercapacitor charger, backup controller, and system health monitor IC. The LTC3350 features a bi-directional switching controller, input and output ideal diodes, supercapacitor protection shunts and balancers, a power-fail comparator, a 14-bit ADC and I²C/SMBus programmability with status reporting all in a compact QFN package.
