By including the controller, power MOSFETs, inductors, input and output bypass capacitors and compensation circuitry, the LTM product family simplifies power supply design for system engineers. The LTM4611 step-down regulator in particular delivers up to 15A from a single supply rail of as little as 1.5V and may be paralleled to support even higher output current demands. An external clock input supports a uniform switching frequency within the system for noise isolation and/or multiphase operation to reduce the amount of input capacitance required. With an internal differential remote sense amplifier, the LTM4611 delivers excellent voltage regulation at the load.
